Team mission

The Payroll teams mission is to create maintain and consolidate high-quality compliant payroll processes for all GetYourGuide entities worldwide. We also report financial information in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with corporate policies and local regulations while supporting international employees with salary tax and social security topics.

As Payroll Specialist you will be reporting to the Senior Payroll Team Lead supporting and helping to build strong payroll processes across 15 local business entities.

Your mission

• You will be responsible for payroll of circa 300 employees for the monthly period.
• You will ensure on- and off-cycle payrolls as well as tax social security and payroll payments are processed in a timely manner.
• You will be the first point of contact for employees and managers for payroll related queries and requests.
• You will maintain the payroll documentation in our network and Confluence system.
• You will be responsible for reviewing and improving internal processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness

Your toolkit

• You have 4 years of experience in international payroll processing and control as well as solid knowledge in labor and payroll tax laws and regulations. Experience in German payroll is a plus.

• You have great organisational analytical and processing skills with attention to detail problem solving and an experienced Excel and Google Sheets user.

• You are fluent in English (German or any other European language is a plus) with a service-oriented mindset willingness to learn and ability to collaborate and work in a team.
• You are used to working with sensitive information and keeping a high level of confidentiality.
• Experience using Workday and/or Payslip would be an advantage.
