Your Role
The Team Lead Sales DACH SMEs is a leadership position within the Sales organization at envelio. The role focuses on leading and developing the sales team dedicated to small and medium-sized Distribution System Operators (DSOs) across the DACH region. As a key driver of sales growth, this position ensures efficient customer acquisition, supports long-term account development, and contributes to scaling envelio’s impact in the energy sector.
The Team Lead is responsible for guiding the team toward achieving ambitious sales targets, continuously optimizing sales processes, and aligning with broader organizational strategies. With a combination of strategic planning, operational oversight, and people leadership, this role bridges the gap between individual sales execution and company-wide growth objectives.

Leadership & Team Development
- You lead, coach, and develop the sales team for the SME DSO segment in the DACH region, ensuring strong performance, skill growth, and motivation
- You conduct regular 1 : 1s and feedback sessions to provide situational guidance and foster professional development
- You promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Sales Strategy & Execution
You drive achievement of sales targets for new customer acquisition and contract value within the SME DSO segmentYou actively support operative sales activities when needed - such as customer meetings, tender participation, or reviewing offers and sales documentsYou collaborate with marketing to design and execute lead-generation campaigns tailored to the SME segmentYou develop a deep understanding of envelio's IGP, the market, as well as our users, customers, and their needs and challenges in their daily workflowsYou translate market feedback and DSO requirements into actionable input for the Product teamProcess Optimization & Planning
