THE ROLE & THE TEAM

The Zalando platform enables partners (brands retailers distributors) to sell fashion articles directly to the Zalando customers. The Test Order Quality team is under the umbrella of the Platform Order Experience team whose purpose is to drive customer experience of the post-purchase journey for the platform business. The Test Order Quality team ensures that partners adhere to Zalando customer promises and customer expectations.

As a Quality Performance Specialist you will be responsible for the operational performance of the Test Order Quality vendor who checks the order fulfillment and return process of dropship partners against defined quality requirements by means of random test orders. In this role you will build a bridge between internal partner-facing teams (e. g. Partner Care Operational Success Platform Onboarding etc.) who are in charge of partners operational success and the vendor. You will bring and extend your expertise in quality performance customer experience and vendor management. You will take over coordination with internal stakeholders and the vendor to continuously drive for higher quality and customer experience of the platform.

• Enable the external vendor to execute Test Order management operations within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Determine the Partners that require testing and generate the corresponding test order requests for the vendor.

• Maintain accurate Test Order records within the Pegasus (Salesforce) system and upload the test order reports received from the vendor.

• Daily monitoring of the quality and consistency of test order checks review adherence to specific quality standards and deliver high-quality test order reports to Zalando Partners.

• Manage incoming requests related to test orders from the vendor and internal partner-facing teams (e.g. Operations Success Management Partner Care Onboarding Teams).

• Proactively challenge current practices propose and implement improvements to existing processes and reporting mechanisms.

• You have a Bachelor degree in Quality Supply Chain Management or comparable education

• You have demonstrated experience and a high attention to detail in quality and vendor management.

• You possess strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• You have a strong drive for problem solving and get things done

• You are a self-motivated individual who works independently and proactively efficiently managing and prioritising your workload

• You have gained professional efficiency in both spoken and written English
