Northvolt is on a mission to revolutionize energy and produce batteries so advanced they will make oil history. As part of this shift, we’re seeking a passionate HR Coordinator to join our innovative HR team at Northvolt Drei, one of Germany’s first large-scale battery gigafactories located in Heide. p>

While the road has been challenging, we remain committed to building Europe’s green energy future, and we’re excited to have you contribute to the development of this multi-billion Euro project, which will unfold over the next 5+ years.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Drive, implement, and improve all HR processes together with corporate functions, including onboarding, offboarding, compensation & benefits and learning & development
Play a key role in our People & Culture projects, e.g. annual growth & performance management cycle, health & safety, and employee engagement activities
Support our external payroll provider with monthly payroll and expense management processes
Design and implement policies that drive positive employee experience
Continuously improve HR Reporting and Analytics to support informed business decisions

Minimum requirements :

A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree within HR, Business, Psychology, Education or similar

Successful track record of scaling HR-operations in a fast-growing environment

Experience in the industrial / manufacturing industry or in a start-up would be beneficial

Good knowledge of employment law and labour law in Germany

Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken

Knowledge and experience of payroll and HR-systems would be a big plus

Experience working in a diverse, multi-cultural environment would also be preferred
