My client are an internationally recognized renewable energy company with deep roots in the German market. As specialists in large-scale wind energy projects, they combine local expertise with global experience to drive the energy transition forward.
The Role
They are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the permitting and approval processes for major onshore wind developments. You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle — from early-stage development through to approval — with a particular focus on projects located in Western and North-Eastern Germany .
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of wind project development, including site selection, permitting, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory approvals
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and risk assessments
- Liaise with local authorities, consultants, landowners, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with all relevant German and EU environmental and planning regulations
- Provide clear reporting and documentation to senior management and investors
- Collaborate closely with technical, legal, and commercial teams across the organization
- Conduct occasional site visits and meetings at our Berlin office
