We are looking for you, located in Trier or 100% remote in Germany as a

Database Performance Specialist (m / f / d)

Your tasks are :

Perform Performance Analysis on Database Level in pre-production and production environments

Develop and maintain performance and monitoring framework and guidelines

Contribute to installability, portability, scalability and servicability of our products

Deliver re-usable application components that help the organization to monitor and control performance

Ensure consistency and the way our framework is used

Maintain and further develop framework components, such as Application Server Framework, Kubernetes Framework etc.

Perform Software design and architecture reviews to evaluate and iterate the designs

Work with both local and international product teams

Ensure regular reporting wrt. Status and progress

You’ll bring in :

Bachelor’s degree in computer science and / or information systems or an equivalent combination of education and / or experience

More than 5 years of experience is a plus

Strong know how in min 3 of the following technologies : Oracle DBA, PostgreSQL, Enterprise DB, Oracle Statspack, Oracle AWR, SQL, PL / SQL, Kubernetes, Docker, SQL, PL& / SQL, Networking Infrastructure, ORBIS RGEN Reports, JMeter, Grafana, Dynatrace

Enthusiasms for modern technologies

Problem solving as a hobby

Experience in Software Design, planning and concept creation
