Senior Software Engineer - Monitoring

The Role

As the Senior Software Engineer - Monitoring , you’ll :

  • Lead Innovation : Architect, design, and build a cutting-edge monitoring and logging platform, including application monitoring, logging, and tracing.
  • Optimise Performance : Develop solutions to enhance application performance and stability for customers.
  • Build & Mentor : Establish a new team, recruit top talent, and guide engineers to achieve technical excellence.
  • Collaborate : Work closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to deliver best-in-class services.

Essential Skills

  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
  • A positive attitude, learning agility, and teamwork.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals.
  • Professional experience in :
  • Web development.
  • SQL and JavaScript / TypeScript.
  • Monitoring or logging systems.
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL), distributed systems, and microservices architecture.

    • Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Fluent in German.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, or Lit (frontend library).
