JOB DESCRIPTION
To be eligible for this internship, candidates must :
a) Have secured the right to live and work in Germany for the entire duration of the internship. IUCN will not provide assistance with visa or work permit applications, nor will it alter applicants' visa status.

Remuneration :
This is a non-paid internship. Interns or their sponsoring institutions are responsible for the costs and arrangements related to travel, visas, accommodation, and living expenses.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Content Development : Draft communication materials such as newsletters, press releases, articles, blogs and factsheets tailored to diverse audiences.
2. Multimedia production : Create engaging visual content, including posters, videos and social media posts.
3. Event Coverage : Support promotion and coverage of events and high-level meetings through photography, video production and social media posts.
4. Digital Engagement : Monitor and analyze social media performance to help refine content strategy.
5. Strategy Implementation : Assist the Senior Communications Officer in implementing the IUCN Europe’s Communication Strategy and contribute to the delivery of IUCN’s projects communications objectives.
6. Administrative Support : Provide day-to-day administrative assistance, including maintaining the editorial calendar, supporting project management activities and coordinating logistics for meetings and events.
