Could you be the full-time Supplier Product Quality Development Engineer (f / m / d) in Siegen we’re looking for?

Your Future Role

Our Siegen site is an international competence center for bogies. 800 colleagues develop, manufacture, test, and repair bogies for global rail traffic, ensuring stability and comfort on the tracks. Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. You’ll report to KAUBE Rene, Supplier Quality Group Domain Manager Metallic and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.

We’ll look for you to :

• Monitor quality during the development phase of the supplier's product / process and ensure compliance with Alstom requirements
• Perform supplier quality risk assessments at Business award stage
• Ensure with the project team that Quality Alstom requirements are respected by the supplier before the “Go Order” milestone
• Prepare and perform customer FAI (First Article Inspection) when requested
• Follow-up of supplier action plans; Supplier Quality Status (SQS)
• Drive supplier to meet FAI Go On Time target
• Perform handover to Supplier Quality Serial Life (after FAI Go + first 3 successful deliveries)
• Contribute to the solving of critical non-conformities and issues with suppliers, including warranty issues when escalated
• In charge of Non Conformity problem solving until FAI Go and handover performed
