Mauser Packaging Solutions is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Manager Global International Freight and Global Export Control.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for ocean freight services to optimize costs and ensure high service quality
• Negotiate contracts and rates with ocean carriers and freight forwarders to secure favorable terms
• Manage supplier relationships to maintain strong partnerships and ensure cost efficiency and high service levels
• Monitor market trends and adapt procurement strategies to reflect changes in the global market
• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and plan shipments effectively
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and internal company policies
• Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to ocean freight procurement
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through proactive management strategiesLead and develop a team of logistics specialists, including setting goals, monitoring performance, and fostering continuous improvement
• Optimize existing logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Develop and implement customs compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to international trade regulations
• Liaise with customs authorities and regulatory bodies to manage and resolve compliance matters
• Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with customs regulations and identify areas for improvement
• Provide guidance and training to internal teams on customs and compliance requirements
• Monitor changes in trade regulations and adjust company policies to maintain compliance
• Oversee global customs processes, including material categorization, HS coding, and sanction monitoring
• Develop a global compliance strategy, supported by appropriate tools and infrastructure
• Advise and support various business areas on international trade and customs law
• Act as a global point of contact for agencies and employees regarding customs and trade law
• Identify and manage global suppliers to maintain a robust and competitive supplier base
• Provide market insights to support the organization’s strategic decision-making processes
• Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, including factories and logistics teams
• Drive global strategy development and implementation, ensuring alignment with business goals
• Proactively follow up on implemented strategies and processes to assess their effectiveness
• Support the development of efficient global freight forwarding processes through collaboration and innovation
• Perform other tasks as assigned to support business objectives

Qualifikation

Excellent knowledge of foreign trade and customs law

General and technical expertise of transport business context

Total Cost Management

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience working with a ERP / TMS system

University / business school degree (Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement

Proven project management skill with international scope

Excellent reading and writing skills in English and German language

Process oriented and strong analytical thinking

Ability to empower others to achieve results through motivation, recognition and performance feedback

Ability to express information in a manner appropriate to different levels of people & lead negotiations

Ability to take actions, decisions & to generate ideas, products, processes in prom-ised timely manner

Familiar with working in a matrix environment and with regional teams

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
