Security Architect

To join our client in Germany, we are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect, to ensure IT compliance and risk management within company operations.

Summary of Role :

Implementing a robust cyber security strategy for an internationally operating company
This role involves policy development, aligned with privacy law and internal requirements
As a management and point of contact position, excellent communication skills are essential
Fluency in English (with German Language proficiency highly desirable)
Flexible, Hybrid working from the North Rhine Westphalia region

Responsibilities :

Develop and oversee the company's Cyber Security Strategy, reporting policy updates to leadership and ensuring compliance across the organisation.

Assess security risks and vulnerabilities, with a focus on Microsoft systems, and implement solutions that meet Security, Privacy Law, and GDPR requirements.

Perform independent risk assessments, collaborating with Cyber Security and ITSM management to identify weaknesses and threats for early intervention.

Deliver Cyber Security training and awareness programmes across departments.

Skills and Qualifications :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree related to IT

4 + years of experience in IT risk management or Cyber Security

Demonstrated ability to manage IT projects and present information clearly at all levels

Strong knowledge of IT compliance and privacy requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft 365
