To join our client in Germany, we are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect, to ensure IT compliance and risk management within company operations.
Summary of Role :
- Implementing a robust cyber security strategy for an internationally operating company
- This role involves policy development, aligned with privacy law and internal requirements
- As a management and point of contact position, excellent communication skills are essential
- Fluency in English (with German Language proficiency highly desirable)
- Flexible, Hybrid working from the North Rhine Westphalia region
Responsibilities :
- Develop and oversee the company's Cyber Security Strategy, reporting policy updates to leadership and ensuring compliance across the organisation.
- Assess security risks and vulnerabilities, with a focus on Microsoft systems, and implement solutions that meet Security, Privacy Law, and GDPR requirements.
- Perform independent risk assessments, collaborating with Cyber Security and ITSM management to identify weaknesses and threats for early intervention.
- Deliver Cyber Security training and awareness programmes across departments.
Skills and Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree related to IT
- 4 + years of experience in IT risk management or Cyber Security
- Demonstrated ability to manage IT projects and present information clearly at all levels
- Strong knowledge of IT compliance and privacy requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
