Description
- Lead technical development of cabin interior and cargo solutions from initial concept through certification and delivery
- Ensure innovative cabin designs meet safety standards, regulatory requirements, cost, weight and reliability targets
- Define detailed cabin interior requirements based on company standards and customer preferences
- Coordinate specification development and liaise closely with design teams to create state‑of‑the‑art cabin environments
- Perform market analysis of current and emerging cabin products; recommend best options for evaluation
- Conduct technical evaluation of shortlisted suppliers and recommend implementation solutions
- Monitor and report supplier performance
- Develop mitigation plans for impacted projects and perform critical path analysis
- Prepare and implement work‑around plans to ensure successful completion of project milestones
- Coordinate between project management, engineering departments and external partners
- Review project and budget status; manage documentation and maintain integrated master schedules
- Support development of technical solutions for in‑service and future fleet issues
Profile
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering10+ years of experience in the aviation industryExtensive expertise in Cabin Interiors and modern cabin design conceptsStrong understanding of certification and regulatory requirementsExperience with aircraft development programs and program managementExcellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skillsFluent in English; German skills would be beneficialJob Offer
