Your Mission

• Evolve and maintain our platform to support current and future levels of scale and capabilities.
• Work closely with development teams, architects, and cloud engineers to engineer and deliver what matters.
• Champion platform security and compliance, mentoring in best practices, and overseeing adherence to standards.
• Display and foster a DevOps mindset; make it easy for teams to really own their products.
• Develop, operate, and integrate high-quality platform utilities that are crucial building blocks of our overall system.

Your Skills

• Degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent experience, plus 3+ years in platform engineering (or a similar role).
• Strong knowledge of containers, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and at least basics in Kubernetes, cloud, Terraform, and general software engineering.
• You see tools as tools and learn new ones fast when the job calls for it.
• Understand that an engineering org is a socio-technical system no change is ever just a change.
• Solid grasp of distributed systems.
• Care about quality attributes like availability, reliability, correctness but know when pragmatism beats perfection.
• Startup mindset: collaborative, hands-on, and adaptable.
• Bonus: software engineering background because its easier to design a great car when you also drive it.
