M&A Manager, Leading European Tax Consultancy Group, Remote / Frankfurt am Main, Germany About our client
Our client is one of Germany's leading tax consulting groups with more than 1,300 offices in over 50 countries worldwide.
They advise small and medium-sizedpanies on all tax and business issues and further accelerate their economic success, through an industry-specific advisory approach, an outsourcing offering, or digital products.
They have generated an impressive group turnover with their tax consultancy, auditing, legal consultancy, management consultancy and IT divisions.
In total, our client can offer support to more than 250,000 clients nationwide.
Their dynamic team in Germany is now looking to hire several M&A Managers to further drive the growth of the group; in this role you will focus on identifying new M&A targets in the form of tax advisory firms or groups and systematically acquiring them along an actively managed process to strengthen and expand the group's network.
The location of the position can be flexible throughout Germany; however, as the Head of M&A is predominantly based in Frankfurt, this would be preferred.
The position in question will report to directly to him.

What the job involves
- Identification and evaluation of M&A targets with a focus on Germany-wide acquisitions
- Business planning and coordination of due diligence as well as contract negotiations through to successful signing
- Monitoring the integration process to ensure an optimal start once acquired into the group
- Contributing to the further development of the M&A strategy as part of the overall corporate strategy
Who we are looking for
- Successfullypleted studies in business administration, law, finance or similar qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in aparable role and sound knowledge of the entire M&A process
- Negotiation and analytical skills
- Track record of successful transaction closings
- Preferred but not obligatory : exposure to tax advisory business
- Strategic thinking, self-confident appearance, andmunication skills
- Motivated team player with the ability to operate successfully in a dynamic environment.
- Fluent German & English language skills
