As a Development Engineer for sensor systems, you will work in an international team that develops innovative solutions for customers in the field of Quality Control Systems (QCS). You will be responsible for the further development, optimization, and implementation of new measurement applications and sensor systems for the pulp and paper industry.
Your Tasks
- Leading development projects in the field of sensor systems for quality control applications
- Designing and adapting measurement methods and sensor systems to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Identifying and implementing new application possibilities for existing measurement and sensor technologies
- Conducting tests and field trials to introduce new or improved sensor solutions - both in-house and directly at customer sites
- Providing technical support to the local and global organization
- Regular coordination with the international research team to ensure effective collaboration
Your Profile
MSc or PhD in physics or electrical engineering with a focus on sensor systems and embedded electronicsInitial work experience in relevant fields (industry or academia)Solid command of English, both spoken and writtenStrong analytical thinking, quick comprehension, and communication skillsWillingness to work in lab, office, and on-site at customer locationsExperience in the pulp and paper industry is a plusYou Benefits at Voith
