The IMS Business Management team serves as a competence center for questions concerning the integration of IMS entities with Deutsche Börse Group and resulting group relationships and agreements, first-line-of-defense oversight and risk management for IMS entities, steering and preparation of governance bodies from an IMS segment Deutsche Börse Group perspective, and monitoring and translating regulatory and Group requirements of relevance to IMS entities.
It has the responsibility to discuss, where relevant initiate, and ensure / oversee execution with stakeholders both on the Deutsche Börse Group as well as IMS company level (SimCorp, ISS Stoxx).
The Head of IMS Business Management will directly face off to senior stakeholders at ISS Stoxx, SimCorp, and across Deutsche Börse Group.
Your responsibilities
- Managing the integration of IMS entities into Deutsche Börse Group and ensuring group-related synergy targets are met
- Ensuring and coordinating the implementation of (governance / risk / compliance) minimum standards in IMS entities
- Setting up appropriate intercompany service agreements / contracts and ensuring transparency on financial flows
- Managing and assisting in significant change and / or restructuring projects
- Participating in and representing the IMS segment in Group governance and coordinating bodies
- Steering IMS governance bodies and ensuring required decisions are taken in the appropriate governance body in a timely and risk-managed fashion
- Preparation of materials for IMS governance bodies (e.g., boards of directors) and alignment with stakeholders
- Monitoring the regulatory environment for Deutsche Börse Group and IMS entities to identify Group implications for IMS entities and shape the Group response to emerging regulatory developments with IMS input (interfacing with Group Regulatory)
Your profile
- University degree with excellent results
- Seven+ years of experience in consulting, business risk management, and / or finance
- Strong practical experience in governance and business risk management in a financial services context
- Theoretical and practical understanding of the IMS business context, i.e. data, analytics, and technology services in the investment management industry
- Focus on delivery with results-oriented and structured approach to problem solving
- Trak record of driving change in multi-stakeholder situations
- Ability to work under pressure with high degree of reliability and autonomy
- Strong communication skills written and verbal, ability to communicate effectively across all seniority levels in English
- High commitment, motivation and entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong analytical skills and good knowledge of quantitative tools and methods, e.g. including financial modelling / business plan analysis
