Business (Financial) Planning & Analysis Manager (m / f / d) Surgical DACH

As a Business (Financial) Planning & Analysis Manager (m / f / d) supporting the Surgical franchise team, you will be trusted to drive the budget and forecast planning processes and productivity initiatives within the DACH cluster . This role is based in Freiburg im Breisgau .

In this role, a typical day will include :

Owning the DACH Cluster P&L for the Surgical Franchise, proposing actions and recovery plans in case of sales shortfalls.

Coordinating and preparing financial plans, including budgets and forecast updates.

Supporting the Head of Finance Surgical DACH in special projects.

Preparing key financial indicators to support target setting for strategic plans, latest forecasts, and budgets.

Monitoring structural costs on a monthly basis and driving profit improvement strategies.

Run sales and customer profitability analysis to support decisions in pricing or product mix and sales strategy

Partnering with franchise teams by delivering robust and timely financial data to guide decision-making.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON :

A university degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master of Business Administration is a plus.

At least 4 years of experience in financial reporting and project management in an international environment.

Excellent finance and analytical skills and a strong understanding of accounting and reporting rules.

Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to present financial information effectively to non-financial audiences.

Fluent English (written and spoken); German skills would be highly appreciated.
