We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Director with expertise in the Utilities domain to drive business growth in the European market . The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of utility sector trends, digital transformation, smart grids, and energy management solutions . This role requires a strategic leader who can develop high-value relationships, identify new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand business in the Utilities sector across Europe .
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with utility providers, energy companies, and relevant stakeholders .
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in smart grids, renewable energy, energy storage, and digital transformation solutions .
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and solutions teams to tailor offerings to client needs.
  • Lead complex sales negotiations, ensuring long-term strategic partnerships and revenue growth.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to drive informed business decisions.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting to meet or exceed sales targets.

Requirements :

  • 10+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record in the Utilities sector .
  • Strong understanding of Europe's energy regulations, digital utilities, and emerging industry trends .
  • Experience in selling smart grid solutions, energy management, or digital transformation technologies .
  • Excellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to drive end-to-end sales cycles, from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing sales teams and driving revenue growth .
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.
  • Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field .
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Prior experience working with energy companies, grid operators, or technology providers in the utilities space.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven energy solutions, IoT, and sustainability initiatives .
  • Fluency in multiple European languages is a plus
