Job Description

A new permanent part-time position has just come available, for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the Financial Department to support the Finance department in a 5 - Star Hotel. Reporting directly to the Hotel Accountant, this position plays a pivotal role in the businesses daily operations.

The company is Ireland’s original 5 - Star Hotel and is based in the heart of Kenmare.

This is a 3 day week part-time role based fully onsite.

Please see below the responsibilities and some requirements in order to be successful in this process.

Role of this position

  • Compile and maintain daily sales figures.
  • Manage both Debtors and Creditors ledgers.
  • Assist in preparing the Audit Pack and provide necessary ad hoc reporting.
  • Maintain the Gift Voucher Control Account.
  • Conduct day-to-day banking activities as required.
  • Provide support to the accountant on various ad hoc projects.
  • Fulfill general administration duties alongside other ongoing assigned tasks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • You will have experience working in a similar Accounts Assistant role
  • You will hold an Accounting Technician certification or actively be pursing one
  • Experience in Hotsoft, SAGE, MicroPay, Auto entry & ProcureWizard is an advantage
  • You will have excellent communication skills
