Head of Legal – EU Region

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Legal for Europe, based in Munich, to lead and manage all legal matters across the European business operations. This role will be a strategic partner to the business and a key member of the global legal leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all legal activities across Europe, ensuring full compliance with local and international laws and regulations.
• Provide strategic legal advice to senior regional leadership on business operations, transactions, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including distribution, supply, licensing, and collaboration contracts.
• Monitor and manage regional litigation and disputes in collaboration with external counsel as needed.
• Act as a legal representative in high-stakes negotiations and regulatory discussions across the EU.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, etc.) to support business strategies and mitigate legal risks.
• Develop and implement legal policies, training programs, and best practices across the European legal function.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing regional legal function.
