The Role

We’re looking for a technically driven Atlassian expert to join our remote team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving complex challenges, building tailored solutions, and working closely with clients to improve how they use tools like Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket. Your work will have a direct impact on how organizations structure their processes, collaborate, and scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Understand client needs : Collaborate with clients to explore their business processes, identify bottlenecks, and translate those into actionable technical requirements.
  • Build smart solutions : Design and implement custom workflows, plugins, and integrations using Java, Kotlin, or Groovy to enhance Atlassian toolsets.
  • Streamline processes : Analyze and optimize workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and set up CI / CD pipelines to improve performance and reduce manual work.
  • Work together : Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of developers, architects, and subject matter experts to deliver impactful, scalable solutions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Technical depth : Hands-on experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) and a solid understanding of how they can be extended and customized.
  • Coding proficiency : Comfortable working in Java, Kotlin, or Groovy, and experienced in developing plugins or building integrations for Atlassian products.
  • Analytical mindset : You’re a problem-solver who approaches challenges methodically and creatively.
  • Strong communicator : Fluent in German (C1 or higher) and able to explain complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
  • Self-starter : You’re organized, self-motivated, and thrive in a remote work setup.
