EiQ is LRQAs industryleading ESG supply chain risk management platform. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to take ownership of driving growth. This role is laserfocused on hunting new business leveraging LRQAs network and penetrating highrisk highreward sectors such as retail apparel food and heavy industrials with a focus on enterprise accounts. Success in this role requires deep technical sales expertise relentless energy and the ability to build trust and deliver value to senior decisionmakers.

Key Responsibilities :

Hunting

  • Prospecting Excellence : Aggressively target and engage enterpriselevel prospects across Europe identifying highvalue opportunities through a disciplined datadriven approach.
  • CrossSales : Partner with LRQAs broader commercial teams to uncover and close EiQ opportunities within existing customer accounts.
  • Competitive Penetration : Develop strategies to displace competitors in hightech ESG and SaaS solutions leveraging EiQs distinct advantages to capture market share.

Technical and Strategic Sales

  • Complex Solution Selling : Articulate EiQs capabilities in risk analytics audit management and ESG reporting with technical precision addressing sophisticated client pain points.
  • CSuite Engagement : Build credibility with senior executives including Chief Sustainability Officers Procurement Heads and Risk Leaders through expert knowledge and valuedriven conversations.
  • Market Customization : Tailor pitches and proposals to align with industryspecific challenges and regional compliance requirements such as LkSG and CSDDD.
  • Sales Leadership and

  • Full Sales Ownership : Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to proposal development and deal closure with accountability for revenue outcomes.
  • DataDriven Focus : Use CRM tools to meticulously track pipeline activity analyze trends and maintain accurate forecasts.
  • Product Feedback Loop : Provide actionable insights to product teams based on market needs ensuring EiQ remains at the forefront of ESG technology innovation.
  • Qualifications and Skills :

  • Proven HighTech Sales Leader : 8 years of experience in SaaS or technology sales with a track record of exceeding targets in enterprise markets.
  • Aggressive Hunter : Relentless in pursuing new business opportunities and skilled at closing complex deals.
  • Technical Expertise : Deep understanding of ESG supply chain risk or SaaS platforms with the ability to simplify complex solutions for diverse stakeholders.
  • Market Knowledge : Familiarity with ESG regulations (e.g. LkSG CSDDD) and supply chain dynamics is a strong advantage.
  • Relationship Builder : Exceptional ability to engage and build trust with senior decisionmakers in competitive and challenging markets.
  • Language Skills : Fluency in English
