Our client are a global leader in the manufacture of test and measurement devices.
They are looking for a Key Account Manager to be responsible for selling products and services to a select number of customers (in the Automotive sector) in Germany-Austria-Switzerland (DACH) and acting as the company's representative in all sales-oriented activities.
Main responsibilities :
- Maintaining an excellent relationship with the existing customer base, as well as the further development of customer relationships at all decision-making levels,
- Makers and influencers with assigned key customers (from laboratory engineers / technicians to executives at the highest decision-making level),
- Maintaining regular customer communication and developing a good understanding of important customer projects,
- Achieve and exceed sales targets based on a monthly plan and business objectives.
Desired experience :
At least 5 years of experience as a key account manager, ideally in a test & measurement environment with a proven track record,Master or technical degree in physics, electronics, electrical engineering or telecommunications engineering,Understanding of technology trends and turning points in the power and automotive markets,Ability to profitably create, develop, manage and close business opportunities in a difficult competitive environment,Ability to map the customer's decision-making process and uncover potential customers' key purchasing influences,Team player with a collaborative and strategic mindset,Place of residence in Germany, ideally southern Germany,Strong willingness to travel,Strong negotiation skills, communication and presentation skills - also in German and English.If you are interested in applying for this position or would like more information please get in
