Technical Document Expert (m/f/d)

Who are we looking for?

This position can be based in Gütersloh, Langenfeld, or Bangalore India.

The Technical Documents Expert will maintain MEIS´s customer facing process documentation to ensure completeness and constant quality. The Expert enters and edits documents and related master data in a database.

The Expert will also participate in specific projects as time allows.

What will you be doing?

• Editing and processing of customer facing technical process documentation and process master data
• Respect the workflow and governance for changes to the existing global documents and data as well as integration of new documents
• Coordination of content creation and updates with the product group R&D experts
• Support efforts to build, maintain and constantly improve the database solutions used for process documentation and process master data
• Perform cleaning and harmonization of existing process documentation and process master data and the integration of such data from new acquisitions or new fields of business. Mentor external resources in such projects.
• Be available for internal customers, i.e. Product Management and Sales, for questions and improvement proposals regarding technical process documentation

What competencies will you need?

• Completed studies with a technical or scientific focus on chemistry, surface technology, or materials science and/or chemical-technical training with professional experience in the field of research and development of process chemicals for surface coating.
• Experience with technical documents and/or data management
• Preferably some technical background
• Fluent in English
• Ability to communicate
• Skills in MS Office applications especially Sharepoint
• Preferably experience with custom database solutions
