We are currently seeking a Technical Support Specialist in Life SciencesEMEAI who will be responsible for supporting our Automationproduct-lines and integrated solutions over a vast geography. TheTechnical Support Specialist provides highly specialized andqualified technical support to the field service department,conducts customer, application, field service training and coachingactivities, installation support and onsite technical support atescalated customer sites. You will be frequently interacting withvarious departments on all support and management levels as well aswith customers. You will work independently and self-organized,prioritize your activities to ensure that key milestones areachieved and develop continuously yourskills.

In this role,you will be responsiblefor :

  • Assisting field serviceengineers with troubleshooting the most difficult problems in highpressure situations
  • Consulting with colleagues,engineering, applications, manufacturing and field whentroubleshooting to advance knowledge and verifying progress whentroubleshooting
  • Utilizing proper statisticaltechniques to review service data to interpret, propose actions andnext steps to investigate to root cause develop countermeasures andmonitor for timely determination ofeffectiveness.
  • Training others on topics whereexpertise has developed to expertlevel.
  • Managing Call Escalations - ability toidentify, own and track any issues with an account, according tocall escalation procedure, to reachresolution.

Therequired qualifications for the jobinclude :

  • Bachelor’s degreein engineering or similar field and multiple years of experience ina high-tech environment
  • Experience inelectrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical troubleshooting,theory and application in automatedsystems
  • Ability to work independently, makefast decisions and prioritizetasks
  • Itwould be a plus if you also possess previous experiencein :

  • Excellent English(written and oral),
  • An add. language would bean asset
  • Computer literate (especially inExcel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Oracle aplus)
