The GM,Beckman Coulter Diagnostics will lead the German Beckman commercialorganization comprised of sales, marketing, technical service andworkflow and IT. This Senior Leader will be responsible for guidingthe team to drive profitable growth of the Beckman Diagnosticsbusiness within Germany. He / she will develop and execute the go tomarket strategy through focusing on the public sector as well biglab group networks as well as other growthinitiatives.
In this role, the GMBeckman Coulter Diagnostics will :
- Provide vision, strategyand guidance to the German organization to address competitive andchanging dynamics that result in higher growth than the marketaverage through close monitoring and assessment of healthcareeconomics, market consolidation and opportunities to gain marketshare.
- Evaluate the current sales structure,roles territories and activities to identify areas of strength andassess improvements to meet the current and future demands ofcustomers to achieve future growth as well as improve operationaleffectiveness, efficiency, and customer experience especially inthe technical services space by driving standard work, synergiesand best practices sustainably through strong sales education andexcellent execution.
- Achieve revenue, marginand expense objectives set forth by senior leaders by aligning anddisseminating the target performance goals and ensuring flawlessexecution of growth DBS (Danaher Business System) philosophy andtools, sales funnel management, daily management and actionplanning.
- Work with German leadership team todevelop programs and culture that drive upper quartile engagementacross the commercial organization to ensure improved peopleretention, motivation and productivity
- Lead anddevelop team by establishing annual goals; hiring and training newassociates; and coaching, monitoring and appraising individualperformance through the use of policy deployment tools and topgrading processes with a focus on kaizen and continuous improvementby designing and implementing standards of accountability forothers in the organization that can be used to focus, guide and sethigh standards of performance for others in order to achievebusiness results.

Can buildstrong relationships, quickly establishing credibility, trust andsupport (i.e., customers, peers, subordinates and seniormanagement) as well as developing strong followership within thecommercial organization.Strong negotiation andcommercial skills. Comfortable interacting at C Suite level and cansupport their team to negotiate complex deals which are profitableto the company and in line with revenue / marginobjectives.Solid cross-function influencingskills both internally and externally, with a strong ability towork within a matrix organization to gain buy-in andengagement.The essentialrequirements of the role are :
Bachelor’s Degree required;MS / MBA preferred15+ years commercialexperience requiredStrong Commercial / SalesManagement experience operating within a mid to large ($100M+)complex healthcare company that sells both capital equipment with aconsumable component.
