The Senior Learning Manager (f / m / d / x) is a role that will act as strategic partner to different functions in the organization. You are responsible for dedicated learning portfolios within the GEA Academy and translate strategic initiatives and needs into the correct learning activities for these specific target groups. You will ensure smooth and tailored learning activities for different groups enabling them to perform their job in the organization.
Your tasks :
You act as strategic partner to dedicated functions and support them to reach their targets by implementing appropriate learning activities
You manage and maintain one or more learning portfolios such as Service, Sales, Leadership or others
You are responsible for independently managing strategic projects and initiatives and driving them to success (incl. full budget responsibility)
You consult and translate learning demands on multi-impact, complex strategic initiatives
You design learning solutions considering didactics, methodologies and learning formats to reach the learning objectives in an efficient and effective way
You develop these learning solutions as per design with the support of internal or external resources
You drive the selection of new external providers and cultivate a good collaboration with existing providers
You pro-actively detect and prioritize training needs and according to training development
You collaborate closely with learning managers from other portfolios (e.g. divisional portfolios) where required to ensure a fitting offer of learning activities in the GEA Academy
You evaluate programs and learning activities and measure the impact to the business
Profile
Advanced degree (Bachelor or Master) in Learning and Development, Organizational Development / Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 5 years experience in portfolio management and learning design
Skilled in managing complex projects and numerous stakeholders; experience in agile project management as well as managing employee relations are an asset
Conceptually and intuitively understand how people learn and what makes an effective learning experience.
Extensive experience with a broad range of learning methods and formats
Exceptional analytical skills and strategic agility
Superior communication and relationship-building abilities.
Fluency in English and German language is a preference
