Head of Data Science / EngineeringManager

SR2 are partnered with aglobal chemical and consumer goods company and we are looking for aHead of Data Science.

As a Head of Data Science,you’ll be the go-to expert for all things data. You’ll lead a teamof talented data scientists, work closely with business leaders,and help drive the business forward. Whether it’s buildingpredictive models or helping teams make smarter decisions, you’llplay a key role in making sure we’re not just keeping up with thedata revolution—but leadingit.

What You’ll BeDoing :

  • Leading& Inspiring : Lead and grow a talented team ofdata scientists, ensuring they have the tools and environment tothrive.
  • Strategising : Develop and execute our data science strategy, making sure it'saligned with our business goals and is delivering realvalue.
  • Collaborating : Work closely with other teams to identify opportunities where datacan make a difference, from marketing to productdevelopment.
  • Communicating : Present insights and recommendations to leadership and keystakeholders in a way that’s easy to understand and actionon.
  • ManagingProjects : Oversee data projects from start tofinish, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet businessneeds.

Rolerequirements

  • Experience : You’ve spent 8+ years in the data science world, with at least 3 ofthose in a leadershiprole.
  • Expertise : You’re highly skilled in machine learning, AI, and advancedanalytics, and you’re comfortable working with Python, R, SQL, andcloud platforms like AWS orGCP.
  • Vision : Youhave a knack for seeing the bigger picture and turning complex datainto real businessvalue.
  • Leadership : You know how to build, manage, and inspire a team to do their bestwork.
  • Communication : You can translate data into clear, actionable insights, whetheryou're talking to data scientists orexecutives.
