MacGregor Black are proudly partnering with a leading Sporting Goods business on the search for Sales Director Central & North Europe based in Greater Munich Area.
As the Sales Director Central & North Europe you will lead the strategic plan for the territory through passionate people leadership, long term planning as well as being operational in the day to day business with key retailers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall sales strategy to achieve company revenue targets and market expansion goals.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring team members meet individual and collective sales objectives.
- Identify and explore new business opportunities, partnerships, and channels to enhance market presence.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions and optimize sales performance.
- Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, retailers, and distributors, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to align sales strategies with company objectives.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and conferences to promote our brand and network with industry leaders.
What are we looking for?
7+ years of experience in sales management, preferably within the sporting goods or consumer goods sectors.Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in sales analytics tools.Fluency in English and German; additional languages are a plus.Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.What We Offer
