Data center consultant / specialist planner (all genders)

Your tasks

  • In project teams, you will develop customer-specific security solutions and concepts, especially for data centers
  • Designing HVAC systems (heating, air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing) and electrical engineering and creating specifications and functional specifications for data centers
  • Carrying out vulnerability analyses, as well as preparing and supporting certifications (e.g. TSI (Trusted Site Infrastructure) DIN EN 50600)
  • In the future, you will also be deployed as head of (initially smaller) projects, with the task of leading and coordinating internal project teams (≤ 5 team members)
  • In addition to presenting project results to customers, internal and external specialist presentations are also part of the service portfolio
  • The constant targeted care of our customers and their support with finding solutions are also part of your area of responsibility

Your profile

  • Master craftsman (all genders), technician (all genders) or completed studies in electrical engineering or energy and building services engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Good knowledge of data center technologies and systems
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to our customers (mainly within Germany) is available
  • German language skills at native speaker level (C2) and English language skills (at least A2) are available and / or willingness to participate in company-funded language courses is available
  • You stand out due to your independent and conscientious way of working as well as a high degree of team spirit and loyalty
  • You are characterized by a partnership and service-oriented way of working as well as a friendly and engaging manner
  • You are willing to familiarize yourself with various (security) topics through self-study and participate in external training measures for your own further training and for the further development of the company
  • Advantageous, but not a must :

    • Several years of professional experience in the specialist planning of data centers

  • Knowledge in the field of data center operations management
  • Understanding of specific requirements in relation to DIN EN 50600, TSI, KRITIS regulation, EnEfG, BSI basic protection
  • Understanding of solutions in the specialist planning of data centers in terms of availability, investment and operating costs
