Project Engineer Manufacturing Support (m / f / d)

for Ardagh Metal Packaging Europe

Role Description :

Optimisation of production equipment and product

  • Support end plants in reducing cost, improving quality and efficiency of all equipment
  • Work with suppliers & Ardagh functions to introduce new tooling and optimised products

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct cost reduction,- and rationalisation projects
  • Tooling / equipment trials
  • Support End Centers
  • Technical documentation
  • Product performance issues (claims)
  • New equipment

    • Requirements :

  • Higher Technical Education (mechanical or process)
  • Toolmaker or adequate education
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Project management skills
  • MS Office
  • CAD knowledge beneficial
  • 5 + years in the aluminium stamping & forming process
  • Experience in working with thin materials (ideally Aluminium)
  • Operation of high speed presses
  • Technical / Engineering Skills
  • Maintenance background
  • Process Control / Statistics helpful
  • Pro-active / self-starter
  • Analytical mind
  • Hands on’ mindset
  • Presentation Skills
  • Communicative
  • Team player
