Tasks

As an Aviation Simulator Technician , you’ll ensure the smooth operation of flight simulators alongside your team. After the onboarding phase, you’ll be familiar with the hardware and software and take on responsibilities such as :

• Learning and performing complex, standardized technical tasks, including preventive and corrective maintenance (e.g., troubleshooting, repair, validation, or replacement of electrical and subsystem components)
• Technical support for (future) pilots during simulator sessions
• Utilizing the QM system to record and track maintenance activities
• Conducting pre-flight & post-flight task s on the simulators
• Performing QTG tests and evaluating the results
• Routine maintenance of computers, fault diagnosis, modification & repair of hardware
• Interpretation of technical drawings and schematics for mechanical, hydraulic, electrical & electronic components
• Regular participation in advanced professional training courses
