This Individual will serve as the Strategic Sourcing Manager (f / m / d)(Individual Contributor) responsible for Direct Materials feeding manufacturing sites in the EMEA Region. This individual will own the supplier relationships for direct material suppliers in EMEA under the leadership of the Sr. Strategic Sourcing Manager, EMEA. This individual will support the commodity strategies execution in the region. This position is part of the Integrated Supply Chain Organization and will be located onsite in BK, Germany.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to :

Regional Sourcing Strategy Execution (40%) : identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct supplier assessments, attend supplier meetings / visits, maintain strong relationships with key suppliers via SBR’s, collaborate with cross-functional teams (including engineering, manufacturing, materials, quality), LTA’s / MSA’s negotiate and manage contract administration, improve Supplier OTD, and support site Inventory Target management.

Project Management (40%) : Project funnel ideation and execution, own Strategic Sourcing visual management (DVM), stay updated on emerging technologies / materials / best practices in pulp, resins, chemicals & plastics and supply chain management, monitor market trends & industry developments to identify opportunities for innovation / cost savings / risk mitigation,  partner with Supplier Quality to execute supplier qualifications (FAIR, PPAP, etc.), optimize Supply Chain design to maximize adherence to materials & inventory management.

Customer (Internal & External) Relationship Management (20%) : collaborate with Ops, R&D, Engineering, Quality, Sales, Product Management, support external customers as necessary, and drive OTD

Domestic / International travel will be required.

The essential requirements of the job include :

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Engineering, with 3+ years’ experience in Sourcing, Purchasing, or Supplier Relationship Management with focus on Key Tech commodities

Strong knowledge in materials, processes, pricing dynamics, and supplier landscape

Experience with pulp, resin, media, chemicals & plastics is a plus

Proven track record of negotiating contracts, reducing costs, and improving supplier performance

Ability to travel 30% internationally

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in :

Building, maintaining, and fostering relationships with suppliers

Ability to adapt, think critically, and problem-solve under pressure

Continuous improvement in manufacturing
