Data Analyst (Business Intelligence, Finance & Development)

• Conduct research and collect data with a focus on trade logistics finance and development indicators
• Clean organize and document datasets; maintain data integrity and comparability
• Support the development of a proprietary KCC data repository for logistics and climate
• Conduct analytics for KCCs research and implementation projects using advanced analytical methods
• Perform financial and investment modelling cost-benefit analysis and scenario-based performance assessment
• Build dashboards and KPI systems for monitoring program and project performance
• Develop dynamic Excel dashboards and data visualizations (Power BI Tableau or similar)
• Support the integration of datasets into KCCs emerging intelligence platform
• Use AI-assisted tools for automation and analytical enhancement
• Support the buildup and development of a state-of-the-art analytical toolkit
• Contribute to data narratives and visual outputs used in KCCs knowledge products
• Collaborate with international research organizations development agencies logistics businesses and other partners in driving key data analytics efforts

• 35 years of specific professional experience in data analytics business intelligence finance or development economics
• Masters degree in Economics Data Science Statistics Development Studies or related field
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables financial modelling dashboards) and Power BI / Tableau
• Intermediate skills in Python R or SQL for data analysis and automation
• Familiarity with international development datasets (World Bank IMF UNCTAD WTO)
• Knowledge of ESG metrics and climate-related financial disclosure frameworks (TCFD CSRD) is an asset
• Interest in the logistics industry
• Strong data storytelling and visualization abilities
• Fluency in English (German an asset)
• Eligibility to work in Germany
