Health & Safety Manager (M/W/D)

In this role, you will be responsible for the health, safety, and well-being of all employees in Germany and Liechtenstein.

Your responsibility

• Leading the Health & Safety teams in Germany and Liechtenstein
• Promote a strong culture of health, safety and wellbeing for all employees
• Implementation of the global Teknos health, safety and wellbeing directives, roadmaps and plans to prevent accidents and illnesses
• Facilitate hazard identification and risk assessments (covering e.g. work activities, machines, projects) and propose further controls to eliminate and reduce risks.
• Provide training and support line organization to implement health, safety and wellbeing requirements in alignment with Teknos HSW Directives and annual action plans.
• Ensure timely reporting, investigation and root cause analysis of incidents and implementation of corrective actions in accordance with the Teknos incident learning process
• Monitoring health, safety and wellbeing performance to identify negative trends and make suggestions for improvement
• Monitoring legal health and safety requirements and supporting the line organization in compliance with regulations
• Working with external stakeholders such as occupational health providers, insurers, health and safety authorities and other external service providers
• Collaborating with the local works council and the general works council on issues relating to safety and health protection in the workplace

• Successfully completed vocational education with a focus on (safety) technology
• Successfully completed training as an occupational safety specialist
• Several years of professional experience in the field of occupational safety
• Very good German and good English skills
• Willingness to participate in regular training and continuing education (ASiG, BetrSichV, and ArbSchG)
• Willingness to travel to European locations and class B driver's license
• High motivation to proactively improve working conditions and well-being of employees
• Good communication, training and coaching skills to promote safety culture in all level of organisation
