Our Corporate Sustainability team develops and implements ABOUT YOU’s sustainability strategy. Our tasks include working with legal requirements, analyzing ESG frameworks, developing roadmaps and coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners. Specifically, we work on the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, the implementation of human rights due diligence obligations and annual ESG reporting, among other topics. We also structure all sustainability issues within the organisation and track our progress using agreed KPIs and measures. Our success factors here are working with data and managing internal stakeholders and external partners. Smooth coordination is fundamental to achieving progress.

As a (Senior) Project Manager Sustainability (m / f / d) you will work closely on the core of our sustainability strategy. You will be an expert in the translation of legal requirements, reporting, audits and ESG risk analyses. To further develop our sustainability strategy, you will work with various internal stakeholders such as our sustainability leads in the business units, the legal and strategy department and external partners such as auditors and service providers. You will use efficient analyses to show how we can achieve as much as possible with as few resources as possible.

Responsibilities

Implementation and further development of corporate due diligence obligations to prevent human rights violations and environmental impacts in our company and our supply chains, specifically conducting an annual risk analysis, tracking the implementation of preventive and remedial measures, and reporting

Programme management of our due diligence obligations in a PMO role, including leading review meetings, coordinating deadlines and preparing and following up on them
Management of annual external textile standard audits on the company side
Programme management of extended producer responsibility for textiles, specifically the clarification of new legal requirements from our markets, reporting and the development of prevention plans
Further development of our sustainability strategy by providing a consistent translation of new legal requirements for our company and implementing action plans with internal and external stakeholders to reduce risks and utilise opportunities

Requirements

University degree and more than 2 years of experience in the field of sustainability

Experience as a project or multi-project manager to achieve agreed results within a timeline, experience in a consultancy or other fast-paced working environment is beneficial

Experience in working with legal requirements from the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act, ESG reporting, in accompanying non-financial audits (e.g. conducting materiality analysis), as well as ESG risk analyses in accordance with the requirements of the United Nations Guiding Principles and the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Business Conduct

Enthusiasm for working with data (Excel, databases, dashboards) to gain insights and use them for transformation processes

Ability to work independently and on your own, set priorities autonomously and enjoy effectively managing employees in our ESG matrix organisation

Excellent German and English language skills
