Gestalten Sie regulatorische Exzellenz in DACH – mit Wirkung für Patientensicherheit und Marktzugang.

Als Leiter:in Regulatory Affairs (w/m/d) übernehmen Sie die Verantwortung für die gesamte RA‑Organisation: Sie führen das Team, steuern alle Projekte, setzen klare Verantwortlichkeiten und verteilen Ressourcen vorausschauend. Mit Ihrem Fachwissen halten Sie die Zulassungen unserer Produkte in Deutschland und Österreich aktuell – von Qualitätsdossiers bis zu Produktinformationen und Kennzeichnungstexten – und sichern die Compliance für die Marktfreigabe. Gleichzeitig behalten Sie Regulatory‑Aktivitäten und Budget für die Schweiz im Blick und sorgen für effiziente Prozesse über Ländergrenzen hinweg.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Definition und Überprüfung regulatorischer Strategien, um Kosten und Zeitpläne in Bezug auf regulatorische und Kennzeichnungsprozesse zu optimieren.
• Bereitstellung regulatorischer Expertise und strategischer Entscheidungsfindung für zentrale RA‑Aktivitäten.
• Verantwortung für das Management, die Prüfung und die Einreichung der im Rahmen von Zulassungsdossiers erforderlichen Dokumentation bei den zuständigen Gesundheitsbehörden sowie für die fristgerechte und budgetkonforme Umsetzung.
• Kommunikation, Abstimmung und Verhandlung mit relevanten Gesundheitsbehörden zu laufenden neuen regulatorischen Projekten, Prozessen und Änderungen, um die Marktpräsenz sicherzustellen.
• Zuteilung von RA‑Ressourcen und Überwachung des Fortschritts aller laufenden Projekte zur Sicherstellung der fristgerechten Umsetzung.
• Freigabe von Änderungs- und Verlängerungsanträgen vor deren Einreichung bei den Behörden.
• Unterstützung aller Prozesse, die zu neuen Marktzulassungen und der Einführung neuer Produkte führen.
• Entwicklung und Implementierung von Richtlinien und Standards für Best Practices im lokalen RA‑Team.
• Überwachung und Bewertung neuer regulatorischer Anforderungen im Hinblick auf geschäftliche Bedürfnisse.
• Unterstützung spezifischer Prozesse aus QA und QC, insbesondere Change‑Control‑Aktivitäten.
• Überwachung regulatorischer Gebühren und sonstiger RA‑Kosten gemäß dem genehmigten Budget.
• Erstellung des MRP (Mid‑Range Plan) für geplante RA‑Aktivitäten in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz.
• Erstellung und Festlegung regulatorischer Strategien,um Kosten und Zeitpläne in Bezug auf regulatorische und Kennzeichnungsprozesse zu optimieren und die geschäftlichen Anforderungen zu erfüllen.
• Überwachung des Fortschritts aller laufenden Projekteund Steuerung der Arbeitsbelastung des RA‑Teams innerhalb der vereinbarten Zeitrahmen.

Ihr Profil:

Ausbildung

• Masterabschluss in Pharmazie, Chemie oder Biologie
• Wünschenswert: zusätzlicher Master in Regulatory Affairs
• Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse (idealerweise muttersprachliches Niveau in Deutsch)

Berufserfahrung

• 7–10 Jahre Berufserfahrung als Regulatory Affairs Manager in der pharmazeutischen Industrie
• Mindestens 2 Jahre Führungserfahrung in der Leitung eines RA‑Teams
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse der regulatorischen Prozesse und der nationalen Arzneimittelgesetzgebung in Deutschland und Österreich
• Sicherer Umgang mit regulatorischen Datenbanken und Systemen (z. B. RIM) sowie e‑CTD‑Software
• Versierter Umgang mit MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Your Mission

Shape regulatory excellence across the DACH region – with real impact on patient safety and market access.

As the Head of Regulatory Affairs (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the entire RA organization: you lead the team, manage all projects, define clear responsibilities, and allocate resources proactively. With your expertise, you ensure that the marketing authorizations for our products in Germany and Austria remain up to date – from quality dossiers to product information and labeling texts – and you secure compliance for market release. At the same time, you oversee regulatory activities and the budget for Switzerland, ensuring efficient cross‑border processes.

Your Responsibilities

• Define and review regulatory strategies to optimize costs and timelines in regulatory and labeling processes.
• Provide regulatory expertise and strategic decision-making for key RA activities.
• Manage, review, and submit all documentation required for registration dossiers to the relevant health authorities, ensuring timely and budget-compliant execution.
• Communicate, coordinate, and negotiate with health authorities on ongoing regulatory projects, processes, and changes to ensure market presence.
• Allocate RA resources and monitor the progress of all ongoing projects to ensure timely implementation.
• Approve variation and renewal applications prior to submission to the authorities.
• Support all processes leading to new marketing authorizations and new product launches.
• Develop and implement policies and standards for best practices within the local RA team.
• Monitor and assess new regulatory requirements in alignment with business needs.
• Support specific QA and QC processes, especially change control activities.
• Monitor regulatory fees and other RA-related costs in accordance with the approved budget.
• Prepare the Mid‑Range Plan (MRP) for planned RA activities in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
• Create and determine regulatory strategies to optimize costs and timelines in alignment with business needs.
• Oversee the progress of all ongoing projects and manage team workload within agreed timelines.

Your Profile

Education

• Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or Biology
• Preferred: an additional Master’s degree in Regulatory Affairs
• Fluent in German and English (German ideally at native level)

Professional Experience

• 7–10 years of experience as a Regulatory Affairs Manager in the pharmaceutical industry
• At least 2 years of experience leading an RA team
• Strong knowledge of regulatory processes and national drug legislation in Germany and Austria
• Confident use of regulatory databases and systems (e.g., RIM) and e‑CTD software
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Personal Competencies

• Analytical thinking and structured decision-making
• Solution-oriented and proactive working style
• Agility and high adaptability
