IT Compliance Manager (m / f / d) in Dresden

At Cognitec, we place great importance on maintaining the highest standards of compliance, data protection and IT security across all our business areas. To strengthen our growing team, we are looking for an experienced and proactive IT Compliance Manager (m / f / d) with a focus on data protection, process management and the development of security policies.

Your tasks :

  • Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR, CCPA) by developing and implementing suitable strategies and controls
  • Optimization and maintenance of compliance processes in accordance with current regulations and best practices.
  • Developing and enforcing IT security policies to protect sensitive data.
  • Regular review of processes for legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Identification and minimization of IT risks through targeted measures.
  • Training employees on compliance, data protection and security topics.
  • Collaboration with IT, legal and operational teams to integrate compliance requirements

Requirements :

  • Degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration or a comparable field.
  • Sound knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR, CCPA) and relevant IT compliance requirements.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of IT compliance and security policies
  • Analytical and solution-oriented approach with high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Very good written and spoken English, German an advantage.
