YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Lead the global quality organization. Hereby you are functionally responsible for the quality organizations in our 3 plants and directly responsible for the global Supplier Quality Management
• Ensure quality infrastructure and standards at global suppliers to meet quality requirements for products and manufacturing sites
• Act as a liaison among Rimowa, Global Functions, and the Global Quality department for strategic alignment
• Coach and mentor team members for optimal performance
• Oversee global initiatives, qualifying new products, and managing current supply to prevent quality-related issues
• Determine critical matters like product safety, quality, and compliance with suppliers and distribution partners
• Interface with key management across manufacturing, logistics, R&D, and Commercial team
• Govern Supplier Excellence programs to ensure improved performance.
• Leverage global supplier data for supply chain improvements
• Strategic management of operational quality assurance at all production sites
• Development and implementation of global quality solutions together with the international production sites
• Conceptualisation and implementation of a global quality management system
• Continuously analysing, adapting and improving existing systems as well as product and process quality
• This promotes a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in all areas of quality control

Profile

• Completed technical university degree (Master's / Diploma) or a comparable qualification in engineering, quality management or related fields
• At least five years of experience in a leading position in the quality environment of a manufacturing company
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Committed and engaging demeanour towards a wide range of stakeholders that enables goal- and result-oriented action
• Eloquent, structured and empathetic leader with a high level of interface competence and a high level of confidenc
• Excellent stakeholder management and high visibility in the respective plants
• Strong hands-on mentality in an agile working environment
• Fast working method
• Strong leadership skills and experience in managing global teams, preferably in an international environment
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization
• Willingness to travel internationally to monitor and improve quality standards at various manufacturing facilities
• Fluency in written and spoken English; knowledge of German is an advantage
