With a fleet of 287 modern container ships and a Vessel Capacity 2.2 million TEU, as well as a Container Capacity 3.2 million TEU including one of the world's largest and most modern reefer container fleets, Hapag-Lloyd is one of the world's leading liner shipping companies. In the Terminal & Infrastructure segment, Hapag-Lloyd has stakes in 20 terminals in Europe, Latin America, the United States, India, and North Africa. The roughly 2.600 employees assigned to the Terminal & Infrastructure segment deal with terminal-related activities and provide complementary logistics services at selected locations.

  • Participation in the daily Account Payable Activities
  • Participation in global SAP Concur Travel Expense Process
  • Participation in ongoing Accounting improvement Projects
  • Support of the implementation of new SAP modules S4 HANA
  • Participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS / HGB for Hapag-Lloyd AG
  • Account Reconciliation and Dunning Management
  • Supporting and execution of the payment proposals
  • Maintenance of Supplier Master Data
  • Very good technical accounting knowledge, acquired through university / technical college studies preferably with a focus on accounting (HGB / IFRS) as well as relevant professional experience
  • Experience in Accounts Payables / Receivables
  • Very good SAP FI knowledge as well as knowledge of other SAP modules desirable (e.g. SAP-MM)
  • Process experience beyond the functional areas
  • Structured and goal-oriented way of working
  • Enjoy teamwork and project work
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Experience with Logistic or Container Shipping is advantage
  • Open to new and different tasks und process improvement
