On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Senior Accountant to take on a key role in managing financial processes, reporting, and compliance for their Luxembourg entities. Key responsabilities :

As a Senior Accountant , you will be responsible for :

  • Accounting & Financial Management : Maintain accurate accounting records and prepare financial statements in compliance with Luxembourg GAAP.
  • Tax Compliance : Prepare and file VAT and CIT returns, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
  • Cash Flow Monitoring : Manage cash balances, coordinate movements, and ensure proper reconciliation.
  • Financial Reporting : Deliver high-quality quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports, working closely with internal teams and auditors.
  • Collaboration & Support : Work with legal, audit, and tax teams to prepare regulatory documents and ensure compliance.
  • Process Improvement : Contribute to projects, including process enhancements and system implementations, to drive efficiency.

Requirements :

As a Senior Accountan t, you have :

  • Experience : At least 3 years in accounting, with Luxembourg GAAP expertise. International exposure is a strong plus.
  • Tax Knowledge : Proficiency in VAT and CIT preparation.
  • Languages : Fluency in English and French (written and spoken) is essential.
  • Tech Skills : Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; Oracle experience is an asset.
  • Soft Skills : Strong communication, a proactive mindset, and the ability to deliver high-quality results under pressure.
