Vinyl Record Pressing Operator (m / w / d)

Intro Objects Manufacturing is looking for an experienced machine operator to strengthen our vinyl pressing team . This position requires strong technical and mechanical skills as well as experience with industrial production machinery . If you have previously worked with industrial machines and have plumbing skill , this is a great advantage. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual who can work independently and adapt to a flexible shift system to ensure smooth operations. Location : Oberschöneweide, Berlin Employment Type : Full-time or 32H / Week Shift : Flexible shift system Industry : Vinyl Record Production Languages Required : English and German (B1 Minimum) Tasks Operating Vinyl Pressing Machines – Set up, monitor, and control pressing machines to ensure high-quality vinyl production. Troubleshooting and Repairs – Identify and efficiently fix mechanical issues to prevent production downtime. Optimizing Press Parameters – Adjust temperature, pressure, and cycle times to enhance production quality. Tool and Stamper Changes – Assist in changing stampers and ensuring precise alignment for flawless production. Routine Maintenance – Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on machines. Quality Control – Inspect records for defects (e.g., warping, non-fill, mispressing) and make necessary adjustments. Working with Hydraulics and Pneumatics – Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems in pressing machines. Plumbing Work – Support maintenance of steam, water, and cooling systems, as well as minor electrical repairs. Electrical and Mechanical Adjustments – Carry out small-scale electrical and mechanical repairs. Optimizing Production Processes – Continuously improve workflows to minimize material waste. Independent Work in a Flexible Shift System – Ensure efficient machine operation and smooth communication with the team during shift transitions. Requirements

• Experience as a machine operator in an industrial or manufacturing environment (experience with vinyl pressing is an advantage but not required).
• Mechanical and technical skills , particularly in hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial machinery .
• Basic plumbing are highly beneficial for maintenance tasks.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and maintain machines .
• Problem-solving skills and resilience
• Reliability and independence , ensuring productive work within a flexible shift system .
• Experience in a workshop, garage, or mechanical trade is an advantage. Benefits
