The Sales Development team develops best-in-class and future oriented tools, processes, policies and guidance to enable the markets to achieve operational excellence and commercial success. As part of the Sales Development team you will act as reliable, supportive and visionary partner for all markets globally, our x-functional stakeholders as well as the Global Sales / WHS team including Senior Management.
Key Responsibilities : (to be performed in alignment with global and local guidelines)
Drive the creation and implementation of best practices, policies and processes to set the standard of operational excellence globally and support achieving the company goalsProject Management : Execute, coordinate and scale cross functional Sales projects e.g. : Commercial Front EndReport, track and monitor the execution of Wholesale Transformation pillar - FEWER. Create and implement a process for tracking, monitoring, and capturing input on market and country level for Fewer planning and reporting and for service levels implementation.Wholesale Primary Data – key component to the planning, reporting, and strategic sales decisions within adidasDrive the creation of solutions, applications, and standardization of customer primary data to ensure accurate and consistent information (Commercial Front End project)
Answer internal questions regarding application of Customer Primary DataLead global requests and communication with markets to ensure consistent usage of Customer Primary Data fields and definitions from a global perspectiveDevelop understanding and impact of Customer Primary Data on planning, reporting, logistical, and various technical systemsRepresent Global Wholesale in the x-functional Customer Primary Data networkSubject matter expert on Customer mapping including enhancing and further improving and adapting the Global approach as per company strategy and industry trendsSupport on various occurring and ad hoc tasks, e.g. preparation of updates for SLT, Market or Board meetings, prepare analysis, collect input, business cases and best practices from markets.Practice standard project management approach and effective communication and s upport with tracking of project progressSupport to organize workshops with markets and global functionsBuild trustworthy relationships and an effective and collaborative network across channels and departmentsSet personal ambitious objectives and guidelines and assess regularlyAct as team player and collaborate with other project team membersSet personal ambitious objectives and guidelines and assess regularlyKey Relationships :

Operational Wholesale Market experience (e.g. KA Management / Field, Sales Coordination, Customer Service) is a plusCommercial knowledge, business acumen and good understanding of Wholesale processesStrong communication skills : written, oral and presentationAnalytical, planning and organizational skills (e.g. project management, advanced xls skills)Pragmatic approach with the ability to distinguish between the level of research needed to achieve the desired resultsCreative, open-minded, agile and reliable team playerMental flexibility, initiative and determinationFluent in written and spoken English. Skills and abilities in another language are a benefitRequisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications :
University degree in business, ideally with Sales / Marketing or Retail focusMinimum 4 years ’ experience in the sporting goods or comparable industryCross-functional experience with Marketing / Finance / Global Operations / Customer ServiceExperience within different countries and / or different culturesExperience in Project ManagementExperience in Business Systems & Processes (SAP, CRM, B2B) is a must
