POSITION TITLE : Technical Sales
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Seeking new customers and maintaining business relations with the existing group of contractors in the area of activity
- Provide an accurate, detailed and prompt estimating service to contractors, and specifiers, permitting full visibility of our price offer for each project quoted, whilst employing best practice methodology, and products tailored to each project.
- Cooperate with the technical services team to ensure, we correctly interpret specifications and clients’ needs for relevant and appropriate match of our products to their specific needs, prior to commencement of pricing process.
- Monitor projects to establish successful main contractors, successful cladding contractors and in conjunction with Commercial Managers assist with negotiating with successful contractor to secure order
- To produce quotations for a wide range of Mineral wool products & ancillaries to all customers, and simultaneously to build and maintain good relationships with them.
- Keeping records of business expenses and administrative matters concerning the employee, e.g. holidays, business trips, etc.
- Report weekly to commercial manager, the status of estimates, and the information related to role Key Performance Indicators
- Building brand image among customers and in the local community
- Representing the company at conferences and construction trade fairs
