Senior Manager, Credit and Debit, Europe

The European Consumer Solutions team is responsible for optimizing and driving the growth of Visas consumer core products including Credit Debit and Prepaid cards across all consumer segments in Europe. The teams objectives are aligned closely to the Visa 2030 strategy and the European regional scorecard (including revenue and profitability outcomes) and the team requires individuals who bring a solutions-centric mindset deep product expertise and a relentless focus on execution as we architect new solutions and customer propositions for European clients and partners.

Responsibilities :

The Consumer Core Product Management team ensures that a strong product vision operational efficiency product management and go-to-market execution combine to drive the future of Visa Card Credentials in Europe. This role will champion Credit and Debit cards in particular with a focus on deep product expertise partnering with clients on proposition design and program approvals driving operational excellence across various stakeholder teams and providing subject matter expertise across a variety of issuer acquirer and partner engagements pitches and sales efforts.

The role will cover aspects such as :

• Credit & Debit credential product SME for Europe supporting internal colleagues and clients with your card product expertise with deep knowledge across all aspects of Credit and Debit credentials (Visa Rules program operations program approvals and due diligence issuing models and partnerships acceptance opportunities regulation best practice).  You are an energetic motivated and experienced product manager with great expertise in managing card programs.  You are highly organized detail oriented and have a relentless focus on execution against a strategy / vision / plan.
• Support the development of card programs built with Debit or Credit credentials at their foundation particularly in growth areas such as cross-border issuing next gen digital banking and cryptocurrency / stablecoin issuing programs.  This includes both UX as well as technical and solution design aspects across the product value chain.  You are proactive curious and solutions-driven and you enjoy partnering with and influencing teams and stakeholders around you.
• Support on business development and winning new Credit & Debit card portfolios at a country level partnering with internal teams to build product sales plays and bring these to life through direct pitching / interaction with senior clients and stakeholders across Europe.  As part of this business growth ambition partner with our Visa Flexible Credential and Affluent teams on driving these important priorities.  You are confident experienced and enjoy engaging clients and stakeholders in growth discussions.
• Share data driven insights with stakeholders executives and Visa issuing clients through quarterly business reviews and client-facing scorecards related to debit and credit programs in Europe.  You are commercially minded and can use data to tell a business story.
