Our international client is a Global Fortune 500 leader, providing innovative consumer, commercial and enterprise technology. The company has its operations spread in more than 60 countries, with a portfolio comprising high-quality, secure products and services, covering personal and business hardware and software products.

Currently, they are looking for a Field Technical Consultant to join their team in Germany.

Job Profile for Field Technical Consultant

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to :

  • Work under the direction of the EMEA Project Management Office (PMO) leader, alongside a team of Field Technical Consultants (FTCs), utilising feedback from the knowledge built by customer account teams
  • Manage high-impact situations to a successful conclusion. It is a requirement of the role to produce an analysis of customer situations, working with the company Support Teams when appropriate
  • Deal with all levels of customer representatives, as well as all levels of Sales, Services leadership, and technical communities
  • Act as a single point of contact and a trusted advisor for customer escalations
  • Own the coordination and oversight of problem-solving efforts
  • Lead complex service delivery and develop creative resolutions to problems in accordance with the Statement of Works

Candidate Profile for Field Technical Consultant

  • Must be fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Superior knowledge of PC and Cloud technology
  • It is preferred to bring experience in some of the following areas : SCCM, Asset Management Tools, Patch Management, Driver Management, Image Management, (Modern) IT Deployment solutions, PC architecture knowledge, In-depth knowledge of current Windows operating systems, Windows 10 engineering, Diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Able to effectively interact and communicate with Senior executives
  • A passion to learn and use state of the art technologies
  • Keep up to date on the latest market trends
