Chief Product Officer – B2BE-Commerce Platform

What You’ll Do :

Develop and Execute Strategic ProductVision :

  • ProductStrategy : Formulate and maintain a clear product visionthat aligns with the company’s business goals. Lead the developmentof product roadmaps, ensuring that they reflect market trends,customer needs, and technological advancements.
  • Innovation : Drive innovation byidentifying new opportunities in the market, leveraging dataanalytics, customer insights, and competitive analysis to informproduct decisions.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with the executive team, including the CEOand CTO, to ensure that product strategies support the company’slong-term vision and market positioning.

Lead and Inspire Cross-FunctionalTeams :

  • TeamLeadership : Lead and mentor a diverse team of productmanagers, UX / UI designers, and developers, fostering a culture ofcollaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Execution : Oversee the entire productlifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and successfuldelivery of high-quality products. Resolve bottlenecks, prioritizetasks, and guide the team to meet deadlines.
  • Communication : Serve as a key liaisonbetween the product team and other departments, includingmarketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure alignment andclear communication across the organization.
  • Customer-Centric ProductDevelopment :

  • Customer Insights : Champion acustomer-first approach by leading initiatives to gather in- depthuser research, surveys, and feedback. Use these insights to guideproduct development and enhance user experience.
  • Data-Driven Decisions : Utilize dataanalytics and performance metrics (e.g., Customer Lifetime Value,Net Promoter Score)to track product success, make informeddecisions, and continuously iterate on products to better meetcustomer needs.
  • Quality andCompliance : Ensure that all products adhere to companystandards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements,delivering secure, reliable, and user-friendlysolutions.
  • Drive BusinessGrowth :

  • MarketPositioning : Stay ahead of industry trends and competitoractivities, adapting product strategies to maintain a competitiveedge. Identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities in thee-commerce space.
  • P&L Management : Oversee the product portfolio’s profit and loss, workingclosely with the Finance team to optimize budgets and ensure thatproduct development contributes to the company’s financialgoals.
  • Strategic Partnerships : Collaborate with external partners, including technologyproviders and vendors, to drive innovation and enhance productofferings.
  • What We’reLooking For :

    Experience andExpertise :

  • ProvenLeadership : 7+ years in senior product management roles,with at least 3 years as a CPO or in a similar leadership positionwithin the e-commerce and SaaS industries.
  • SaaS and E-Commerce Knowledge : Extensive experience in developing and managing productswithin a SaaS environment, with a deep understanding of e-commerceplatforms and their unique challenges.
  • Agile Methodologies : Proficient inagile software development practices, with hands-on experienceusing tools like JIRA to manage product development cycleseffectively.
  • Skills andQualifications :

  • Strategic Thinking : Strong ability tothink strategically and translate market trends and customerinsights into actionable product strategies.
  • Leadership and Communication : Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspireand guide cross-functional teams. Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholdersand C-suite executives.
  • AnalyticalMindset : Proficient in data analytics, market research,and performance metrics, with the ability to make data-drivendecisions that drive product success.
  • Educational Background : Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science,Engineering, or a related field.
