On the current journey of Vattenfall towards S / 4 HANA our SAP Basis Team is responsible for the management of an international technical SAP system landscape running in the cloud as well as on premise.

For the SAP Basis Team, part of Vattenfall IT we are now looking for an ambitious Senior SAP Basis Administrator in Berlin or Hamburg.

As a Senior SAP Basis Administrator you will take responsibility of the configuration, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of the technology stack like SAP application and underlaying database Exadata.

Your tasks and responsibilities :

• Lead the management of Vattenfall's ISU and CRM SAP system landscape in germany, including supporting our other cloud and on-premise environments
• Take primary responsibility for the configuration, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of the SAP technology stack and underlying databases incl. Hana, Oracle and Exadata.
• Manage and execute software upgrades, system installations, configuration, and support package installations.
• Oversee Exadata database administration and user authentication / security access management
• Plan and manage technical projects and upgrades, coordinating necessary resources
• Ensure secure operation and setup of SAP landscapes
• Conduct SAP Basis and database workload analysis and performance tuning
• Collaborate with integration teams to connect surrounding systems based on current security standards
• Maintain and setup SAP High-Availability solutions
• Advanced database administration (Oracle, HANA, Exadata)
• Deep understanding of data-center infrastructure, including hardware and software (operating systems / UNIX and Linux)
• Participate in and potentially lead on-call duty rotation
