Your tasks
- You design, build, and operate robust and scalable data pipelines that ingest, process, and deliver internal and external data sources (e.g. market data, forecasts, asset data) to support algorithmic trading and energy management operations
- You ensure high availability, low latency and operational stability of data flows used in near–real-time and intraday decision-making, including monitoring, alerting, and incident handling
- You integrate new data sources end-to-end, from data acquisition and validation to storage, transformation, and consumption, enabling the continuous growth of the Energy Management department
- You collaborate closely with traders, analysts, and data scientists to translate trading and optimization requirements into reliable, production-ready data solutions
- You optimize data pipelines and infrastructure with regard to performance, scalability, and cost efficiency, while ensuring compliance with security and data governance standards
- You contribute to the evolution of the data architecture and tooling landscape, proposing improvements that increase robustness, observability, and operational efficiency
- You support the deployment of data pipelines into production and ensure their smooth operation over the full lifecycle, from development to daily operations
- You take ownership of defined components of the data platform under guidance from senior colleagues, gradually increasing autonomy and technical responsibility
- You continuously develop your technical skills and stay up to date with best practices in data engineering, especially in the context of real-time data processing and operational systems
Your profile
You hold a university degree in IT, Data Science, or a related fieldYou have development experience in languages like Python or NodeJSYou demonstrate understanding of integration pattern related to microservice architecture or event driven architectureThe understanding of energy markets is considered as an advantageYou have experience in database design and query language and are able to optimize them to fit a business requirementExperience with integration platforms like MuleSoft, Camel and Airflow is considered as a plusYou communicate and collaborate effectively with different stakeholdersYou demonstrate rigour, precision, and curiosity, and an eagerness to learn and growYou are fluent in English; proficiency in German or French is considered as an advantageWhat we offer
