as soon as possible as our new
Engineering Specialist
d / f / m) for
Certification Powerplant and Engine Integration .
Main elements of the position : Powerplant certification
Engine installation
Fuel System
Fire Protection
Your key responsibilities
Support the operational
certification activities
in case of novelties, special design features, controversial issues or where standardisation is necessary
Develop
and maintain the Airbus Helicopters
certification / qualification knowledge
base, including involvement in rulemaking and development of internal technical referential and airworthiness policies
Develop
airworthiness
people competences and practices ensuring training and tutoring within the Airbus Helicopters Engineering Academy
Your tasks and responsibilities in detail
Support to certification projects :
Active involvement in the management of complex and / or novel Certification Projects in close cooperation with the chief airworthiness engineer team
Definition of certification concepts, participation to the development of new certification strategies or policies within the Airbus Group and external stakeholders
Formalization of the Airbus Helicopters position on Certification Review Item (CRIs) or Issue Papers (IPs) for the assigned domain
Airworthiness Knowledge
Establish, maintain and deploy inside and outside the certification methodology guidance and technical referential
Monitor correct application of this guidance both technically and procedurally
Acting as lead commenter for the Notice of Proposed Amendment to Regulation in the field of expertise
Keep a regular and active exchange on rulemaking and policies topics within the AIRBUS Group and national and international Working Groups
Airworthiness People
Active involvement in the process of authorization of staff taking airworthiness decisions
Develop, update and give training to disseminate knowledge and experience within the field of expertise
Act as tutor, coach, advisor for certification engineer
Required Skills and Experience :
Educated at least to a
Master degree level
or equivalent) in Engineering or a related discipline
Extensive experience and knowledge of
engine / powerplant development, certification and integration
Relevant years of practical experience in
development and certification of airplanes, helicopters or engines
Several years of experience in
certification and coordination of certification activities
Experience in
leadership
hierarchical and / or functional) of cross-functional and / or cross-national teams
Ability to influence and guide on technical activities and strategies
Ability for analysis and technical synthesis
Ability to build relationships internally as well as with authorities, customers and suppliers
Rigorous and structured mind
Open, pro-activity, self-assertiveness
Service mindedness towards our Customers' needs
Language skills : English fluent; German, French, Spanish would be a plus
Your location
At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.
